Angie & Taco | Billings MT Family Pet Portrait Photographer | Mini Session
You know that friendly woman who lives down the road? Sometimes you see her walking her dog or pulling out of her driveway as she waves a neighborly “hello!” — That’s Angie. We all have an Angie in our neighborhood and we’re better because of it. So I was elated when we scheduled a pet portrait mini session with her faithful Chihuahua, Taco Belle. (Ahem, adorable name, right?) Continue reading

The next time you want to order your prints of your photo session from cheap print sources, like Costco, Target, or your neighborhood drugstore, consider the below comparisons created by a fellow photographer Erin Noie from

Keni & LC Family | Billings MT Family Photographer Mini Session
When it comes to scheduling portrait sessions, winter in Montana can be touchy! We were originally aiming for the middle of January… but when the day of the session rolled around, we both decided it was just too chilly. We decided to try for the following weekend. While conditions were still not ideal, the whole family toughed it out and managed to capture some beautiful portraits.
Happy Engagement… to Me!
Oh, Lordy Lordy! It’s been one hot minute since my last article.
Life has been busy and a bit stressful, but I can’t complain even if I wanted to. Anyways, happy engagement to me and Zach! He proposed this past Sunday and what’s the first thing I want to do? Take macro pictures, of course!
My left hand is a little heavier, but my heart is oh-so-much lighter. =)
Why Professional Photographers Do Not Give Customers All The Files

Why Professional Photographers Do Not Give Customers All the Files
It’s very common for a professional photographer to have a customer ask to be given all of the photo files from a day of shooting. Invariably, the photographer will try to persuade the customer against it, or even refuse outright. It leaves some customers confused, or possibly even angry. So why won’t your photographer let you have the product of the entire photoshoot?
Christmas Portait Mini Sessions in Wolf Point, MT
Next week is Thanksgiving. Holy turkey crap! The holidays are sneaking up on us (as usual). That’s why I will be offering Christmas Portrait mini sessions on November 17 and 18, 2012!
I’ll be in Wolf Point this year. Since it will be a location shoot the setup is going to be a little improvised, but I have no doubt that it will be great. Check back in the next couple of weeks to see my entire set up, including a DIY Twinkle Light Backdrop!
Here’s a sneak peek. Gru helped us take a few test shots last weekend. <3
