When it comes to scheduling portrait sessions, winter in Montana can be touchy! We were originally aiming for the middle of January… but when the day of the session rolled around, we both decided it was just too chilly. We decided to try for the following weekend. While conditions were still not ideal, the whole family toughed it out and managed to capture some beautiful portraits.
The blown glitter portrait was the first time I’d used my Lensbaby Spark with a client. Focus is quite hard to nail under pressure… perhaps not the best choice for a children’s portrait session, but I am determined to master the Spark! It’s just too fun of a lens to let sit in the bag all day.
